Our client is an established accounting firm north of Boston with strong roots in the community. They are growing and seeking an experienced, motivated individual to join their team. The Sr Tax Associate will provide a broad range of tax planning and compliance support to their clients including Corporations, Hi Net Worth Individuals, non-profits and trusts.

responsibilities:

Primary responsibilities for this position include:

- Provide tax planning and preparation for clients and their entities;

- Prepare tax returns; 1099's,C-Corps, S-Corps, Sole Proprietors and Partnerships.

- Ensure compliance with all federal and state filing requirements on behalf of clients;

This is a growing firm where everything is accomplished via teamwork. Although the focus on tax, this person will gain exposure to & occasionally assist with accounting and audit service including Cash Reconciliation, Month-End Close, Financial Statement Preparation, some Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with clients and performing a variety of tax tasks.

>4-7 years of relevant tax experience in a public accounting firm
>CPA strong preferred
>adaptable and able to change gears quickly to meet changing priorities
>strong team player willing/able to mentor and lead jr staff
