Contract position: Technical Writer located in Huntsville, AL for a leading provider of superior products and services to Government, Aerospace, Defense and industry customers. This role is responsible for the development of multiple technical publication elements for all levels of maintenance. Must have previous Technical data writing experience using Arbortext, IsoDraw, and/or Acrobat Pro. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity. APPLY NOW!

Responsibilities for the Technical Writer

  • Development of multiple technical publication elements for all levels of maintenance for a fielded equipment minor system
  • Collection, research, analysis, and validation of source data based on predefined and developed assumptions and documents in technical manuals
  • Analysis of technical requirements to determine project scope and deliverables
  • Evaluation and implementation of required modifications derived from proposal or engineering change impacts

Requirements for the Technical Writer

  • Minimum of 5 years Technical Data writing/authoring experience
  • Previous experience using Arbortext, IsoDraw, and/or Acrobat Pro
  • Ability to perform Technical Publications Data Design
