job summary:

A Fortune 500 Consumer Goods Organization located in the downtown area, is seeking a dynamic Volume Analyst to support their Customer Financial Operations team. The purpose of this role is to serve as a single point of contact for Receivables (end to end) with our Non-Regional Producing customers. This role will also manage & review analytical end to end invoice data for assigned customers. This is a long term project currently through December of 2018.

Responsibilities of the Volume Analyst:

  • Serve as a single point of contact for Receivables (end to end) with our Non-Regional Producing customers
  • Manage aging of assigned portfolio to determine trends, root cause analysis, and resolution plan or present issues requiring escalation to management teams.
  • Deal directly with customers for payable issues (including skipped invoices, delayed payment, unauthorized deductions) presented/outlined by each customer
  • Assist A/R analysts with Portfolio research and remittance issues affecting payments
  • Analyze Bottler receivables to identify areas for improvement to existing Exchange processes and/or systems. Note trends; seek root cause resolution and act accordingly

Volume Analyst Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience in credit/collections, analytical or finance industry
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field of study
  • Experience with key support systems including SAP, Teradata, Micro-strategy and Matrix reporting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite including intermediate Excel (pivot tables, filters, equations, Vlookup)
  • Ideal candidate will have 2 years national customer or sales facing experience; 2 years consumer product industry experience

Validate the accuracy of data that is transferred from bottler systems to KO systems to reporting systems. Identify classify maintain and protect files documentation and sensitive information consistent with record handling and retention requirements. Identify and research data integrity issues. Protect information and materials provided to third parties (e.g. consultants vendors suppliers bottlers) by ensuring appropriate procedures are followed and parties are bound by Company confidentiality agreements as necessary. Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience At least 1 year related work experience Data Validation: Knowledge of and ability to understand and resolve data inconsistencies or variances. Computer Capability: Ability to use information tools (i.e. Coca-Cola Connection Sales Force Tool Kit VALUE Nielsen MIS CCT Plus LARS) to obtain the needed information to evaluate performance and access relevant data. IT Operating Environment: Knowledge of TCCC operating environments (e.g. client/server MVS AS/400) and processes (e.g. security administration network management production control) used in solution design and development efforts. Includes knowledge of key organizational contacts and groups supporting TCCC operations to allow for information sharing and issue resolution. Data Extraction: Knowledge of and ability to extract and query data from systems (e.g. PAPA$ SAP Focus Billing and Promotions Nielsen INFORM PLUS OPS Messenger). External Accounting Systems: Knowledge of customer bottler or supplier accounting systems and processes.-
