Southside Manufacturing & Logistics is currently recruiting for a warehouse lead for a well established company on the Southside of Jacksonville.

The hours for this position are Monday - Friday from 7:30am - 5:30pm.

The pay is $15 to $17 per hour (based on experience).

Under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Lead I should possess a thorough understanding of our product lines. You are responsible for proper execution of inter-branch transfers including loading trucks and processing all required paperwork. The Warehouse Lead I will assist in managing overstocked products, receiving material into the Keymark system and checking orders for accuracy.

Responsibilities:
Duties

Maintain organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment
Follow proper shipping and receiving protocol
Process paperwork for Inter-Branch transfers
Efficiently pull, pack, strap, and stage orders
Check incoming and outgoing orders for accuracy
Load and/or unload OTR trailers
Receive incoming material into Keymark system
Assist with inventory management and control as well as overstock material management
Learn product specifications including size, color, shape, material, and type
Learn company branch system and corresponding branch color tags
Inspect forklifts and warehouse equipment daily and report any issues to warehouse manager
Safely operate stand-up reach and sit-down forklift
Attend all safety meetings and uphold all warehouse safety protocol and instruction
Work cooperatively in team environment
Work within the framework of the company's defined policies, procedures, goals, and directives.
Any other duties required of this position

Working hours: 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM

Skills:
Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent
3-5 years of warehouse experience
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
Strong math skills
Close attention to details and high level of accuracy
Excellent attendance at current or previous employment
Desire to work in a fast paced and positive environment
Highly organized and deadline oriented
Self-motivated and proactive
