Randstad is collaborating with a lively and inclusive primary school situated in central Watford, committed to delivering an exceptional education for all its students. They are currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join their dedicated team.
As a Year 2 Teacher, you will be tasked with providing high-quality teaching and learning experiences to Year 2 pupils. You will plan and deliver a creative and engaging curriculum that inspires a love for learning and helps each child reach their full potential. This role is ideal for Early Career Teachers (ECTs) beginning their teaching career or experienced teachers seeking a new challenge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver lessons in accordance with the national curriculum standards for Year 2.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school community.
- Participate in school events and extracurricular activities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience teaching in KS1 is desirable but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.
- Ability to inspire and motivate young learners.
- An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, or willingness to obtain one.
