Randstad announces that its Supervisory Board will propose the nomination of René Steenvoorden as member of the Executive Board with the responsibilities for Digital and IT. The proposed nomination will be subject to shareholder approval at the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on March 24, 2020. Digital transformation is an important pillar of Randstad’s overall strategy going forward. Therefore, the role of Chief Digital Officer is empowered by René Steenvoorden’s appointment to the Executive Board.

René Steenvoorden brings over 25 years of digital and IT experience of which 15 years as Chief Information Officer in many different sectors. Before he joined Randstad in September 2016, he gained extensive expertise at Procter and Gamble, McKinsey & Company, Essent and Rabobank. At Randstad, René Steenvoorden founded the Digital Factory and has been instrumental in accelerating Randstad’s global digital and IT activities. Digital transformation is an important pillar of Randstad’s overall strategy going forward. Therefore, the role of Chief Digital Officer is empowered by René Steenvoorden’s appointment to the Executive Board. 

René Steenvoorden is also a member of the Supervisory Board of KPMG Accountants.
