After months of coping with the existential threat of COVID-19 and the accompanying restrictions, we see that many people are now re-evaluating priorities in their lives and jobs. This is a positive development because, as people make the changes they need to lead more satisfying work lives, I am confident that happiness, engagement and productivity will improve.

This was the case for Melanie, a nurse who became disillusioned with her medical specialty. After contacting Randstad, however, she was able to find a role that was more people-focused, working with children and families. This change reignited her passion for nursing and motivated Melanie to stay in the healthcare field.

Helping Melanie and others like her find rewarding work is what we do every day for people around the world. Our goal of touching 500 million work lives by 2030 is particularly relevant now as many people are reconsidering how work fits into their lifestyles. Besides Melanie we have helped other individuals along their work life journeys. Check out some of the other Human Forward stories.
