• The Project Manager - Infrastructure Level 2 is responsible for the successful completion of medium to high risk and highly complex infrastructure or other construction projects by leading cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams through project activities so that projects are successfully completed safely, with quality, within budget, and on time.

Work Assignment Requirements:
As part of this team, you will lead projects that make improvements dams. The projects range in value from $1M to more than $100M and involve a full spectrum of engineering disciplines. Supporting First Nations Consultation, Environment, and Regulatory requirements are also key parts of these positions. Other program and portfolio projects may be assigned as opportunities arise.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Acts as a senior project manager in Project Delivery for multiple projects with medium to high risk/impact/complexity and
with significant regulatory oversight through the Province.
• Develops project plans, including scope, budget, schedule and project team responsibilities in order to accomplish project
objectives.
• Develops and presents business cases, prepares project reports and, at completion, finalizes all financial transactions and
completes final reports.
• Review and approve financial commitments and payments to Financial Authorization Approval Policy (FAAP) limits.
Qualifications
Must haves:
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline such as Engineering, Business, or Environmental Sciences or equivalent.
• Nine to 12 years related experience in fields of expertise within an electric utility or similar environment, with considerable
project management knowledge, skills and experience, as demonstrated by successful project management of projects up
to and over $100M in value.
Nice to haves:
• Project Management Certification is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience related to Dam Safety projects would be a valuable asset
