Application Specialist
SUMMARY
The individual is the technical face of Miltenyi Biotec in India. The technical and application specialist provides first-line technical and application support to customers via different communication channels.
The associate also works closely as a partner with the commercial team by delivering product training, giving seminars, conducting instrument demonstrations, and participating in trade shows.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES
Technical and application support
- Provide scientific support and consultancy to the customers of research portfolio to maximize the sales potential and product usage;
- Provide pre-sales technical support through presentations and customer visits. Assist sales team in configuring the correct solutions for the customers;
- Coordinate and conduct instrument demonstration and customer trainings both presales and post-sales;
- Liaise with the regional and global technical support team to ensure a timely resolution of the customers’ issue;
- Monitor and report instrument service issues. Work with the service team to maintain a high level of instrument performance;
- Supporting the commercial/sales teams on preparation of technical compliance documents to support tenders and URS requirements in Industries;
- Supporting marketing teams to conduct various field marketing activities where Application support is requires.Commercial support
- Present Miltenyi Biotec solution at different conferences, workshops, and educational events;
- Coordinate with the commercial team to organize product workshops;
- Provide regional technical trainings to the sales/commercial teams of Miltenyi Biotec and its distributors and prepare them for customer discussions;
- Leverage own expert knowledge to support market development activities;
- Provide field information to the marketing and commercial teams regarding market dynamics and competition activities;
- Keep a close watch on competition technologies (both direct and orthogonal platforms) and timely update the commercial and marketing teams.
