As a Business Support Officer, you will provide a range of administrative activities and office services that contribute to the efficient and effective operation of the team/unit that supports delivery of services to the company’s clients.
This role is based 5 days a week in Dubbo’s Office.
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 31st of July 2024
Pay Rate: $45/hour + super
Location: Dubbo
Hours of work: 8hours/day, 40hours/week
Pre Employment Checks: Police Check
Responsibilities include:
- Provide customer service and handle reception duties as required, serving as the primary point of contact for the business unit
- Ensure accuracy, proper storage, and accessibility of business information by managing and processing it according to established standards and guidelines.
- Utilize relevant technology to create documentation and presentation materials that support business unit managers and directors.
- Establish and maintain efficient administrative systems and processes, making recommendations for improvement to enhance efficiency and better support the delivery of services.
- Manage business unit filing systems, including creating, storing, retrieving, and tracking files, to uphold information accuracy and security in line with standards and guidelines.
- Cultivate and sustain relationships with other business areas to facilitate the organization of meetings and manage the flow of business information and activities effectively.
- Offer support and assistance to fellow members of the administration team as needed, ensuring the team operates efficiently and effectively.
What you will need to succeed
- Working with Children Check
- Previous experience in an administrative role preferred
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
