Your new role
Reporting to the Head of Tax this role will manage the tax compliance and advisory services for the New Zealand branch.
As a Corporate Tax Manager some of your responsibilities will include:
- Tax advisory across the business
- Review and assessment of tax legislation changes
- Managing tax risk
- Second line of defence tax risk reviews across the entity
- Represent tax in internal and external forums
Your skills and experience as a Corporate Tax Manager:
- 5- 7 years experience in Big 4 with Banking exposure, alternatively corporate tax experience with New Zealand Tax exposure
- Professional Accounting qualification (member of recognised accountancy body e.g. CA).
- New Zealand tax exposure is essential
- People management experience is not a prerequisite
- Subject matter expertise in tax
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with the business
