Responsibilities
• Conduct thorough reviews of specifications and drawings
• Develop material labour take-offs
• Coordinate price packages with suppliers, subcontractors, owners, designers and architects • Review estimates with the Project Managers
• Prepare proposals by organizing all material, equipment, labor, and subcontract costs needed to complete the project
• Coordinate with Purchasing and other departments to assist with building quotes • Track all bids, proposals and regularly communicate with Project Managers and other colleagues as needed
• May assist with business development or new customer generation
• Attend kick off meetings
• Maintain and analyze reports
Qualifications
• 1-3 years of experience in a similar industry
•Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or Environmental field from a University or College of recognized standing
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to meet deadlines/successful completion of deliverables.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to communicate and work well with other team members and clients and manage expectations.
• Excellent time management and coordination skills
• Ability to follow health and safety protocol and assess potential safety issues at site.
