The Company:
My client is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer for their West Midlands recycling site. This position offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of machinery, contributing to projects and performing maintenance and reactive tasks.
Responsibilities will include:
-Working with conveyors, shredders, pipework, gearboxes, pneumatic systems, hydraulics, welding, and fabrication
-Expertise in fault finding, inverters, three-phase wiring, motor control equipment, and 24-volt control circuits
-The ability to identify new methods and procedures for continuous improvement of the plant
-Adhering to the maintenance schedule to ensure proper functioning of all operating equipment
-Participating in equipment design, refurbishment, and adjustment
-Performing necessary maintenance on all areas of the site's facilities.
Requirements:
-Advanced fault diagnosis and repair skills - electrical and mechanical
-Strong Electrical knowledge
-Experience working on machinery including conveyors, shredders, pipework, gearboxes, pneumatic systems, hydraulics
-Knowledge on inverters, three-phase wiring, motor control equipment, and 24-volt control circuits
-Apprenticeship or equivalent experience
