We are seeking a ESG Speilaist to support our client, one of Canada's largest providers of business and payment processing services, in their Toronto office ( hybrid model). In this role, you will work full-time hours on a 8-month assignment.

Responsibilities
•Develop, monitor and update ESG policies, standards, and best practices to ensure
•adherence to the required standards.
•Develop and maintain ESG frameworks, methodologies, and indicators to measure and
•benchmark the ESG program performance.
•Support the creation of a centralized inventory of Company’s ESG initiatives to support
•internal processes and business initiatives.
•Develop Company’s carbon footprint baseline, support ongoing emissions measurement, and
•develop recommendations on further decarbonization efforts.
•Develop and implement ESG reporting framework and methodologies, ensuring compliance
•with applicable regulations and standards.
•Conduct research and analysis on ESG issues and trends impacting Company’s business.
•Collect, verify, and interpret data from various sources, such as company reports, third-party
•ratings, news articles, academic studies, and stakeholder feedback.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree or higher in environmental studies, social sciences, finance, economics, or
related fields.
2. 3 to 5 years in ESG research and analysis.
Skills Required:
•Strong knowledge and understanding of ESG issues, frameworks, and standards, such as the UN Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI), the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) S2, and the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD).
•Excellent analytical, quantitative, and critical thinking skills.
•Proficient in using data analysis tools.
•Strong oral and written communication skills.
•Effective presentation and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
•High attention to detail and quality work products.
•Proactive and curious about sustainability, with aspirations to positively impact our
•environment.
•Previous office experience is an asset (filing systems, record keeping).
•Software experience navigating internet websites, MS Office tools, Outlook, Teams, Power BI, and Excel.
