Fabric Engineer
Location: Central London - Single Site
My market leading, FM client are hiring a skilled and motivated fabric engineer to join their team, focusing on a single static site in the City of London. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about maintenance and repair work in a dynamic urban environment.
- Monday - Friday (plenty of overtime available)
- £33,000 - £36,000 + company benefits
- Pension, private health care & plenty other company benefits
Responsibilities:
- General visual site inspections across plant rooms and communal spaces
- Painting & Decorating
- Tiling
- Carpentry
- Basic plumbing
- Drainage & flushing
- Changing light bulbs
- Emergency light testing
- Fire alarm/door testing
- Grouting & Plastering
- Minor electrical works
- Repairing building fixtures: doors, handles, windows etc.
Requirements:
- Experience as a building services fabric engineer/handyperson in a commercial/high end residential setting
- Full right to work in the UK
- Trades qualifications - C&G / NVQ in plumbing, carpentry, or painting & decorating (desirable, though not essential)
- Able to work independently
