Duties, Responsibilities and Expected Contributions Oversees HR operations to include, but not limited to HR administration, compliance, recruitment, on boarding, Employee Relations, and off boarding. Assist HR Manager in setting and updating policies and designing HR processes to ensure effective HR operations to meet short and long-term business requirements. Ensures company policies comply with Japan Labor Law and update & register to the Labor Standard OfficeA) Experience Required A minimum of five (5) years of human resources experience with progressively increasing responsibility, of which a minimum of two (2) years has been spent as a specialist in employee relations, recruitment, or generalist role required Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Management or related discipline is also required Professional Certificate in Human Resources Management preferredB) Functional Knowledge and Business Expertise Required Good interpersonal skills Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle a fast-paced work environment Ability to complete multiple duties with accuracy shifting from one to another with frequent interruptions and competing deadlines Credibility, ethical, full disclosure and clean financial history Knowledge of hiring and on boarding, employment related laws and regulations, and other HR operations (to include payroll operation, social insurance formalities),. Strong knowledge and experience in Employee relation Good understanding and experience in Retail industry and service business Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Enterprise-wide information systems such Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) English CommunicationC) Attributes/Competencies Customer Focus Critical Thinking Drive for Results Informing Integrity and Trust Interpersonal Savvy Strong interpersonal and communication skills Listens Priority setting Flexible Ability to deal with ambiguity Strong organizational skills Strong multi-tasking ability Engaged, Proactive and Positive Accountable Sense of Urgency or Takes initiative/ownership without supervision Strong Business Acumen
