Responsibilities
Human Resource Generalist should:
- Ensure compliance with I-9 employment eligibility verification and periodically audits Forms I-9.
- Maintain current health benefits program (Administer 401K plan; Monitor employee eligibility for benefits plans; Review benefits with employees and processes enrollment, cancellation or changes; organize and assist with annual open enrollment communications and election process; verify benefit billing accuracy and processes for payment)
- Report, maintain, and monitor all workers' compensation case files (Follow-up on open cases; Report vacation, sick, personal day and holiday use to payroll and scheduling. Maintains and distributes report of same)
- Maintain human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.
Qualifications
Human Resource Generalist must have :
- College Diploma or University Degree
- 3+ years HR experience
- Team oriented
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Sound interpersonal skills with an ability to work with minimal supervision
- Computer skills
- Familiarity with Excel, Outlook , Word and MS office
- Paychex experience is preferred
