Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with I-9 employment eligibility verification
- Audit Forms I-9
- Maintain all employee and applicant documentation
- Perform other miscellaneous duties or special projects as assigned
- Administer 401K plan
- Monitor employee eligibility for benefits plans.
- Review benefits with employees and processes enrollment, cancellation or changes
- Organize and assist with annual open enrollment communications and election process
- Verify benefit billing accuracy and processes for payment.
- Follow-up on open cases
- Report vacation, sick, personal day and holiday use to payroll and scheduling
- Maintain and distribute reports
- Maintain employee personnel files
- Maintain proper record keeping
- Assist with policy development and documentation
Qualifications
- College Diploma or University Degree
- 3+ years HR experience
- Fluency in English both spoken and written
- Team oriented
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Sound interpersonal skills with an ability to work with minimal supervision
- Computer skills
- Familiarity with Excel, Outlook , Word and MS office
- Paychex experience is preferred
