The IT PD (Product Development) department delivers and manages the IT applications required for Product Development to successfully offer their products and services. They design and test the vehicles of the future. Within this domain, PLM/CAD applications such as Teamcenter & NX, Windchill & CREO are the applications with the highest number of users. Additionally, the CAD models provide important output for Product Development, Production Preparation, and Production.
In this challenging role, you will conduct an inventory of requirements and wishes for the IT systems and underlying processes. This is done for the Product Development department. You are capable of translating these requests from Product Development into designs, ensuring implementation is seamless for our technical designers and developers.
Key responsibilities within the role
· Ensuring that the IT systems are optimally configured and maintained for performance, availability, security, and reliability;
· Developing functional requirements, conducting regression testing, and guiding testing by the customer organization;
· Facilitating discussions between the architect, tester, developer, and other (project) team members to provide direction for IT solutions within the PLM domain (particularly Teamcenter);
· Coordinating the progress of small projects regarding delivery, time, and quality, when necessary;
· Analyzing current systems and processes and making improvement proposals;
· Maintaining regular and proactive communication with various stakeholders such as internal customers and suppliers;
· Participating in the scrum/agile team within your domain, working with applications like DevOps and Enterprise Architect;
