The Role
We’re searching for a dedicated full time Legal Secretary to join the Medical Negligence team, a vital part of the greater personal injury practice. The ideal candidate will be passionate about advocating their clients and supporting the Practice Lead to deliver outstanding results daily.

Day to Day
- Provide top-notch administrative support to our Lawyers in the medical negligence department
- Collaborate closely with paralegals for seamless task coordination and efficient departmental operation
- Maintain meticulous record-keeping in LEAP, ensuring deadlines are met consistently
- Manage diaries, appointments, and schedules for Practice Lead and other team members
- Handle file management, including organisation, correspondence, and documentation
- Coordinate expert appointments, teleconferences, and mediations
- Prepare correspondence, issue standard emails, and assist with monthly invoicing
- Adhere to strict protocols and timelines for data entry and task completion
- Contribute to file archiving and provide backup support to the administrative team as needed
What we are looking for:
- Experience in personal injury law, particularly medical negligence claims, is highly desirable
- Strong work ethic with the ability to manage files independently while being a team player
- Excellent time management, attention to detail, and organisational skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong advocacy abilities
- Familiarity with LEAP practice management software is an advantage
