Advantages
Shift: Afternoon straight (3:00 pm - 11:00 pm)
Pay: $37.92 + $0.85 shift premium per hour
Lucrative overtime pay - overtime after 8 hours daily as well as weekend premiums

Responsibilities
Install, inspect, substitute, or mend electrical wiring, outlets, switch boxes, conduits, cables, illumination fixtures, and other electrical parts.
• Assess electrical and electronic apparatus and components for current, voltage, and resistance.
• Set up, uphold, assess, and swap electrical motors, hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems.
• Diagnose, preserve, and rectify industrial, electrical, and electronic control systems and associated devices.
• Implement preventive maintenance initiatives and maintain maintenance records.
• Interpret and comprehend diagrams, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to ascertain the arrangement of industrial electrical equipment installations.
• Engage in continuous improvement projects within the plant.
• work at heights up to 30 feet on Aerial Lifting Platforms.
• Proficiency in installing, diagnosing, fixing, replacing, and programming various PLC platforms, such as Allen Bradley, Siemens, Automation Direct, and Mitsubishi, is advantageous.
Qualifications
442A or 309A Electrician License
Knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code
experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset
Excellent communication skills
ability to work overtime
