In this pivotal role, you will report directly to the Marketing & Communications Manager, being responsible for content creation and management, primarily on social media. You will, however, also assist with and manage omni-channel content strategy and execution. Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and drive traffic to social platforms.
- Create compelling content, including posts, videos, and graphics, that resonate with the school’s target audience, primarily for social media, but also for other marketing-related collaterals such as blogs, newsletters website etc. This includes copy writing.
- Assist and support on development and execution of content plan for rest of the channels (website, publications, newsletters, blogs)
- Implement both on-page and off-page SEO strategies and conduct thorough keyword research.
- Design visually appealing marketing materials using Photoshop, InDesign an AI.
Skills and experience required
- At least 1 year of experience in marketing and communications, with direct experience in copywriting and social media
- Demonstrate proficiency in content creation and management
- Passion for and strong copy-writing skills for both short and long-form
- Keen eye for design, using tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva etc.
- Exhibit a proactive mindset coupled with meticulous attention to details
- Additional advantageous skills in photography/videography are welcomed.
