We are seeking a Nursery Assistant who is ready to work in primary schools and private nurseries around the areas of Batley. You will be supporting children aged 5 years and below. This will be a full time position and you are expected to work from Monday through Friday (8:30 AM - 3:30 PM) starting September until July.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Establish positive and robust connections between children and their parents or caregivers to facilitate early childhood development and advancement.
- Maintain effective relationships with fellow nursery assistants and staff to ensure seamless communication and smooth transitions.
- Offer essential support and care, including feeding and assisting with daily routines, for all the children in your care.
- Develop and deliver captivating and interactive indoor and outdoor activities for the children under your supervision.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and its associated guidelines and requirements.
Requirements:
- Possession of an Enhanced DBS check on the update service, or a willingness to obtain one through Randstad.
- Preferably, a Level 3 Childcare and Education qualification or an equivalent credential (not mandatory). Prior experience in early years childcare.
- Capability to work effectively and cooperatively as part of a team.
- Familiarity with and knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Eligibility to work in the UK without requiring sponsorship.
- Consistent demonstration of a calm and amicable demeanour when interacting with children, parents or caregivers, and fellow staff members.
