... Responsibilities of Procurement Specialist:
The Procurement Specialist position serves as the crucial link between our suppliers and business partners, facilitating the achievement of excellent business results, enhanced value, and the establishment of a more secure and sustainable supply network. Responsibilities include:
- Creating and executing category strategies for designated spending exceeding, in line with procurement goals
- Facilitating connections between suppliers and business counterparts to boost value and maintain a reliable supplier network
- Delivering precise procurement metric reports, leveraging analytics to spot data patterns, and communicating results to senior leaders for informed choices
- Collaborating with suppliers to negotiate favourable terms and uphold adherence to procurement protocols, laws, and ethical guidelines, while advancing standards to lead the procurement landscape.
About you:
- End to end procurement experience in the indirects space in categories such as ICT, Professional Services, Corporate Services and Marketing
- Outstanding communication with abilities in managing senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Experience in implementation, achieving agreed-upon goals, enhancing stakeholder engagement, consolidating buyers, and ensuring lasting change.
