Role: Project Manager

Location: Maidstone (flexible hybrid working)
Salary: £60,000 - £75,000 p/a (DOE)
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our client, a market leader in the water industry. This role will be based out of Maidstone, providing leadership and direction to project teams covering the Southern Water framework.
As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects, while upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Championing exemplary safety and quality standards across all projects, including both direct and subcontracted workforce
- Implementing the Business Management System (BMS) throughout all project phases, from tender handover to final completion
- Cultivating and nurturing strong client relationships at various levels
- Ensuring appropriate staffing levels for projects and clarifying individual responsibilities
- Strategic project planning, including review and endorsement of the Project Execution Plan
- Preparation and approval of detailed construction plans and method statements prior to project commencement
- Proactive management of all commercial aspects of projects, providing accurate forecasts and estimates in a timely manner
Requirements:
- Demonstrated track record of successfully managing multi-disciplinary design and construction projects, preferably within the water industry
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in construction, commercial, or engineering-related discipline
- Project Management Qualification (PMQ) or equivalent certification
- Familiarity with Construction Contracts, particularly NEC and/or IChemE
- Working knowledge of CDM and construction Health & Safety regulations
- Previous experience in water and waste water treatment plants (an advantage)
