Rare Disease Brand ManagerLocation: TokyoReporting line: Senior Area Director, Japan (dotted-line reporting to APAC Brand Management, Senior Director).Position Summary: The brand Manager will be the commercial leader for the designated rare disease product, as a member of the Japan Commercial Operations team. This key role will be focused on driving the marketing efforts for a 1st in class, innovative treatment for pediatric rare disease treatments. Responsible for market strategy development, implementation of post launch product marketing and brand management. This role will also collaboratively work with APAC Brand Teams and Global Brand Management teams. Developing over-arching brand strategies and brand performance management outlines in order to achieve overall business objectives. Searching for a candidate with competitive rare disease, new product launch experience (in Japan). Someone capable of ・ Identifying opportunities for growth, and critical business problems. ・ Developing a cross functional work environments.・ Developing and driving strategies/tactics from start to finish. Key responsibilities:・ Represent Japan's marketing functions, whilst collaborating with Global and Regional Brand Management teams. ・ Lead and manage all marketing activities in Japan for the rare disease product. E.g. annual planning, conferences, brand development etc. ・ Interacting and collaborating with brand/external stakeholders, ensuring that all perspectives are integrated into local plans (patient advocacy groups, HCP's). ・ Collaborations with internal stakeholders, e.g. Sales Teams & Medical teams for optimal execution of local tactics (KOL management plans).・ Leading the development and execution of Digital Channel Strategies.・ Agency management (market research, digital, communications).・ Ensuring Compliance with local regulations, business guidance and standard operating practices.
求められる経験
Requirements:
•5 years + of biotech/pharmaceutical marketing experience (new product planning focused).
•Strategic thinking and communication capability.
•Ability to foster collaborative working team environments.
•Proven cross functional capabilities (e.g. Sales, Market Access, Medical), and ability to involve/influence others in new projects.
•Strong communication abilities for, presentations, problem solving project management.
•Ability to travel for work 50% of the time.
Language:
•Native Japanese
•Fluent English (business level)
Nice to have:
•experience in rare disease, pediatric, endocrinology, orthopedic, ObGyn commercial operations.
