Randstad is seeking a dynamic and compassionate SEN Teacher to join our specialist setting for children in the WF6 area. As an SEN Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive and reach their full potential.This is a full-time position starting in September 2024.

Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of students with SEN.
- Implement personalized learning plans and adapt teaching strategies to support diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and parents to create cohesive and effective support networks for students.
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning, growth, and emotional well-being.
- Monitor student progress, track attainment, and provide regular feedback to inform intervention strategies and educational plans.
- Maintain accurate records, including Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior management documentation.
- Stay updated on best practices, educational trends, and legislative changes related to SEN education.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognized teaching qualification.
- Proven experience working with children with special educational needs, preferably in a school or specialist setting.
- Enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to apply for one) is essential.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to differentiate instruction and adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
