Role and Responsibilities: As a Senior Social Worker, you will play a pivotal role in leading and delivering high-quality services to families in the Reading area. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing direct support to families, conducting assessments, and developing tailored intervention plans.
- Leading a team of social workers and support staff, providing guidance, supervision, and support to ensure effective service delivery.
- Collaborating with partner agencies and professionals to coordinate holistic support for families, including access to housing, healthcare, and education.
- Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of interventions, ensuring outcomes are achieved and services are delivered in line with best practice and statutory requirements.
- Contributing to the development of service policies, procedures, and practice standards, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
- Acting as a champion for families and advocating for their needs within the wider community.
Requirements for this role
- Qualified and registered Social Worker with relevant experience
- Knowledge of legislation and regulations
- Willingness to participate in continuous professional development.
