As an SEO Manager in this dynamic role, you will spearhead SEO campaigns for SME clients while overseeing a team of talented SEO Consultants. Your responsibilities will extend to collaborating with the Head of Department in training and developing staff, elevating the team's delivery standards across a diverse client portfolio, and staying informed on the latest trends within Enterprise clients.
Key Responsibilities:
... - Lead and manage a team of 5 SEO professionals, establishing annual goals, and proactively managing their Professional Development Plans.
- Conduct regular team training sessions, sharing quick tips and tricks to enhance efficient and effective SEO practices.
- Ensure a high level of staff retention through proactive management and support.
- Conduct quality checks on various aspects of the team's work, including audits, strategies, project plans, content briefs, link briefs, and reports.
- Maintain a high standard for your own client work and proactively address any issues with the Global Head of SEO.
- Collaborate with the team to monitor the impact of SEO work, providing key insights to the Research & Development Team or the Global Head of SEO.
- Perform QA checks to ensure the team is managing time and projects within budget and deadlines.
- Strive to maintain a high client retention rate across the team and your own portfolio.
Requirements:
- Approximately 3+ years of SEO experience, with a minimum of 3 years in digital marketing.
- Approximately 3+ years of experience in a managerial/team lead role, managing a team of 3+ people.
- Knowledge of key aspects of SEO and integrated marketing campaigns, as well as inbound or multi-channel marketing concepts.
- Proficiency in SEO and Web Analytics tools for data analysis (Basic & Advanced Analytics Certified).
- Ability to provide findings and relevant recommendations based on technical audits.
- Understanding of how websites function from both user and search agent perspectives.
- Strong prioritization and self-management skills.
- Competency in soft skills, including project management, communication, interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, and objection handling.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects within budget and on time, with proactive issue resolution.
- Experience in mentoring and managing a team.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.
- Advanced knowledge of Google Sheets, Docs, Slides, etc.
