Role: Site Supervisor

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor / General Foreperson to join our client, a market leader in the water industry. This role will be based out of Maidstone, supervising construction activities within the Southern Water framework.
As a crucial lead on site, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of construction projects, maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency on-site.
Responsibilities:
- Leading and supervising the on-site workforce, including both direct employees and subcontractors, to ensure exemplary safety and quality standards
- Implementing the Business Management System (BMS) throughout all construction phases, from tender handover to final completion
- Cultivating and maintaining strong working relationships with project teams, clients, and other stakeholders
- Ensuring appropriate staffing levels on-site and clarifying individual responsibilities
- Overseeing day-to-day site operations, ensuring all activities align with the Project Execution Plan
- Preparing and approving detailed construction plans and method statements prior to project commencement
- Managing the timely procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring cost-effective use of resources
Requirements:
- Proven experience in supervising multi-disciplinary construction projects, preferably within the water industry
- Extensive knowledge of construction processes and methodologies
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Familiarity with Construction Contracts, particularly NEC and/or IChemE
- Working knowledge of CDM and construction Health & Safety regulations
- Previous experience in water and wastewater treatment plants (an advantage)
