Responsibilities
Here are the responsibilities for this System Administrator 0365/Azure at this Manufacturing leader in Verdun/Iles des Soeurs ;
Provide customer-centric Level 3 operational support for all our North American locations
Applying OS updates, patches, monitoring and configuration changes.
Manage: AD, DHCP, DNS, Azure AD, GPO and Office 365 and Exchange Online
Planning for and responding to service outages and other problems.
Supervising or consulting on upgrades and new applications and equipment.
Setting up, managing and maintaining users and their access rights while ensuring information and systems are protected from unauthorized access.
Regular system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, key processes and reviewing system logs.
Determine and configure the right threshold, Analyze and automate the alerts.
Liaise with the application, production engineering & internal client teams (Manufacturing, Supply Chain, HR, Finance, etc.) to coordinate to find solutions and streamline processes on problems and identify issues
Participate and collaborate on projects within our evolving IT landscape and other areas of the business
Document new processes and changes according to ITIL guidelines
Qualifications
Here are the qualifications required for this System Administrator 0365/Azure at this Manufacturing leader in Verdun/Iles des Soeurs ;
A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience as a system administrator
In-depth knowledge of various operating systems (Windows OS 2019, 2022) and platforms.
Profound knowledge of SCCM & SCOM
Significant experience working with Virtualization ( Vmware and Hyper-V)
Extensive experience in handling Certificates, SSO and MFA solutions.
Knowledge of system security and data backup/recovery
Knowledge of industry standards, legislation and best practices
Able to work collaboratively and establish positive relationships with cross-functional teams
Relevant professional certifications (MCSE, MCITP) would be advantageous.
General knowledge of different technologies and actively curious about new trends in technology
Languages: Speak, read and write in English, French is a plus
Competencies
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
