Position: Religious Education (RE) Teacher Location: Camden
Key Responsibilities:
- Craft engaging and thought-provoking lesson plans that explore various religious traditions, beliefs, and practices.
- Create a respectful and open-minded learning environment that encourages students to explore their own beliefs and values.
- In still critical thinking skills and ethical reasoning through discussions on moral dilemmas and philosophical questions.
- Facilitate discussions on cultural and religious diversity, promoting empathy, respect, and tolerance.
- Organise and participate in activities that encourage students to engage with the local community and learn from different religious and cultural perspectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Religious Studies, Theology, Education, or related field, with a strong foundation in religious education.
- Teaching certification with a focus on Religious Education or Ethics, showcasing your expertise in the subject matter.
- Enthusiasm for promoting spiritual and moral development, fostering empathy and understanding among students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to navigate sensitive topics and facilitate meaningful discussions.
