・The Trade Marketing Manager is responsible for the development and coordination of in market plans and convert them into actionable activities for the markets, in line with marketing strategy and the country category vision.・Trade Marketing role is seen as key commercial leader of the business unit and a critical driving force behind achieving the commercial strategy and accelerating growth of the Group.・Adjust and adapt the group commercial strategy to Japan based on his/her deep understanding of channel trends, competitive environment, market conditions.・Work in alignment with his/her local counterparts. He/she provides the business unit with the necessary market reality understanding to enable them to make the right & timely investments decisions and commercial/ product initiatives plan developments.・Understand what it takes to win at first moment of truth in key channels, define the appropriate KPIs, translate them into measurable targets & deliverables and work out the right plans to deliver.・Lead, recommend and be accountable for the commercial investment strategy and plans across the cross functional teams and overall synchronization with A&P strategy.・Lead shopper-based value creation plans for customers and translate them into shopper-based customer conceptual selling.・Focus on creating the best category vision with an integrated joint business planning with the customers.・Manage Revenue Management by efficient/ effective Trade Spend investment.・Provision of 12 months price & promotion plans, combining with other demand driver understanding to assess sufficiency to annual targets.
求められる経験
• University degree (commercial discipline preferred)
• Deep knowledge of Japanese distributor/ wholesaler and retailer’s business operation
• Minimum 8 years of experience in trade marketing, and sales/marketing in FMCG sector at F&B industry.
• Clear understanding of markets, sales and distribution, competitor activity, consumer and shopper behavior, category management and business insight in the FMCG contexts.
• Strong analytical ability and commercial acumen to understand financial statements and market trends.
• Strategic thinking able to lead trade marketing strategy
• Ability to move from brands to category vision with an integrated joint business planning with the customers
• Ability to deliver perfect implementation of sales fundamental in store by adopting agile ways-of working
• Demonstrate a proven track record on Trade Marketing and ability to build an impactful planning strategy and make decisions based on analytical data
• Forecasting ability and price/ promotion management
• Demonstrate ability to work and influence cross functionally, and experience in cross function teams
• Experience in building compelling story from multi data sources to influence business decisions
• High level of data analytical and presentation skills
• Able to define potentials / issues
• Have sense of urgency and agility even in ambiguous circumstances
• Have a sense of entrepreneurship
• Have a growth mindset and be a business developer
• Have an excellent relationship, adaptability, ability to run complex projects
• Good communication skills both speaking and writing
• High level of English proficiency to communicate with internal and global team
• Ability to work in multi-cultural environments
• Computer operational skills (excel skill, word, power point, etc.)
• Leadership skills, Proactive approach & mindset
