Acorn provides 5 short break beds and Adlin House is a 4-bedded long-stay Childrens Homes in Hexham run by Action for Children. We are a highly motivated and supportive team, providing care, encouragement and support to the children who live within Adlin House. As a Residential Worker you'll be leading shifts and become part of a team who are responsible for providing a high quality and customer focused service to disabled children and their families. This is based on an annual assessment of need that is regularly reviewed and outcomes driven and by developing effective working relationships, using various channels of communication with Action for Children colleagues, partner agencies and other external agencies. Waking nights are also part of the post and are shared out across the full staff team although we are also looking for dedicated night workers.
