■Purpose:The Shopper Marketing (SM) executive is the connecting point between the Category teams and the Sales function. The SM supports the national Category plan breakdown at the Regional level ■Shopper Marketing Executive Job Duties include:【Process management】oCoordinate Sales Conventions including Preparation, Delivering tools to Sales activities, and Sales Negotiation OutcomesoSet up the schedule with all relevant milestonesoCoordinate with brand, pricing, and sales teams for timely deliverableoReview and drive improvement to the process【Regional and account visibility】oRegional breakdown of the Category and Brand Strategy, giving visibility at Intage-level regional data.Understanding of the key categories trends, opportunities, and challengesVisibility on in-market competitor movementsAnalysis and data on company products performance for key regionsAlign with the Brand Managers on Shopper, Long-term market, and consumer trends【In-Store best practice】oOwn the catalogue of permanent POP materialsoInnovate and develop new materials for in-store visibilityoDevelop activations and promotions with key accounts to support in line with regional and account analysis and prioritization【Other activities as necessary】
求められる経験
【Required skills and qualifications】
•Advanced degree in Business Administration, Marketing, and/or equivalent
•At least 4 years of experience in Commercial Roles – preferred experience in Marketing/Promotion/Sales/Trade in Retail Packaged Foods industry
•Understanding of the Japanese regional marketplace dynamics and shopper behavior
•Strategic-thinker, capable of combining everyday activities with long-term plans.
•Literate in 3rd party market data as well as in internal financial reporting
•Excellent mathematical and Excel skills;
•Leadership and project management skills; management experience
•Integrity; honesty; understanding of data privacy standards
•English communication skills, both written and verbal
•Multi-cultural mindset, championing diversity and equality in every activity
•Thorough understanding of business principles and practices
