The AP/AR Specialist IV, International will be responsible for supporting of all GBS P2P activities in international which includes procurement, P2P, travel and expense, supplier on-boarding and risk and compliance in partnership with GBS leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
● Collaborate with leadership to design and execute customer feedback activities.
● Guide stakeholders to the correct point of contact and process regarding any sourcing,
procurement, travel and expense or invoicing or payment questions
● Manage, support, or execute any local or regional sourcing, procurement or payables
activities including requirements gathering, bidding, vendor selection, price analysis,
contracting, E2E purchase transactions and payables managing and monitoring.
● Proactively makes recommendations to improve policies, processes, procedures training
and communication content that are locally & globally managed.
● Ensure work is redirected to US team as it relates to any global vendor activities.
● Provides key local or regional information, analytics and insights that help the US teams
improve support model.
● Provide feedback to design and improve ongoing reporting, dashboards, and metrics.
● Collaborate with GBS to participate in any key meetings where a local presence is
required, especially during GBS' implementation.
● Manages, monitors, and escalates any issues outside of SLA or not serviced in a timely
manner in partnership with global support teams.
● Field standard questions and issues that can be immediately answered, leveraging
knowledge of key GBS processes.
Qualifications
● Relevant industry experience
● Experience with International Shared Services/Financial Operations/Procurement
● Ability to influence and drive change while building solid relationships with your internal
clients and external vendors.
● Awareness of best practices regarding vendor sourcing and procurement
● Bachelor's degree in business or other quantitative discipline
● 5+ years of Procurement, AP or Accounting experience
● Experience in project management
● Experience in continuous improvement
● Solid financial and/or quantitative modeling
● Availability to directly support and interact with multiple international business units.
Desired skills
● Experience with various ERP systems- Oracle/SAP and Coupa
● Internal or external business consulting/OSP experience highly desired
● Knowledge of global strategic sourcing, procurement, technology, P2P, supply chain
● Strong analytical skills; MS Excel proficient; financial modeling preferred.
● Strong written and communication skills; MS PowerPoint, MS Word proficient
● Ability to work independently as well as lead and participate in cross functional teams.
● Ability to collaborate in a team environment.
● Excellent documentation and requirements analysis
● Attention to detail and ability to analyze complex data.
● Analytical and problem-solving skills. Using metrics to track and improve team
performance.
