Due to business expansion, the team is now hiring for a General Manager for Global Human Resources that will lead their Talent Management, Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development pillars globally.
This senior leadership position is based in Singapore (~550 employees based locally) and requires an effective leader to lead their global HR agenda. This is a permanent headcount.
about the job
Reporting into the Senior Global Vice President, you will manage and lead a direct team of 12 (with 3 direct reports) and an in-direct team of 6 HR leaders globally, supporting the U.S., Europe and Asia-Pacific markets. In addition, you will:
- Drive Global HR strategy across the COE pillars (talent acquisition, talent management, learning & development), ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives
- Drive talent management and succession planning for senior leadership team, support performance appraisal exercises, workforce planning, leadership development and enhance HR capabilities / people strategy
- Review and align on existing performance processes / systems and compensation frameworks, linking rewards to performance
- Work closely with the business leaders and leadership team on people agenda and provide strategic HR guidance and support to the local HR teams globally
- Lead all regional HR reporting and data, utilizing HR metrics and ensure that all HR needs of the company are being met and aligned with business objectives

skills and experience required
- Degree in Human Resource, Business Administration or relevant equivalent
- Minimum 15 years’ HR leadership experience within an APAC or global position
- Proven ability to successfully manage and drive HR agenda across regions
- Possess strong leadership qualities and strategic business acumen with excellent organisational skills
- Knowledge of data analysis and reporting, meticulous with eye for detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong ability in influencing, communicating and business partnering / stakeholder management skills
- Experience in listed entities, strong international exposure especially in relocation and expatriate management
- Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and regulations across region
