HR Partners is in search of an HR Business Partner to join our client, an iconic and recognised retailer on a 6 month contract.
In this varied role, you will be reporting into the managing director and enjoy a highly autonomous environment. This is a true generalist role where you will consult with business leaders to achieve HR and business objectives, provide quality advice, mentoring and coaching.
Responsibilities:
... - Coach and empower managers on people management and culture
- Demonstrate authentic leadership and provide clear direction to all stakeholders whilst partnering closely with senior management to develop HR strategies that are in alignment with the overarching business objectives.
- Collaborate with leaders on workforce planning, compensation and benefits guidance, best practise and industrial relations advice.
- Conduct thorough analysis, monitoring, and creation of key people metrics to anticipate risks, identify trends, and drive ongoing improvement initiatives.
- Act as the main contact person for employee relations matters for the portfolio of brands, encompassing grievances, disciplinary actions, and mediation where required.
Key requirements:
- To be successful in this role you will need to be a seasoned HR Professional with knowledge of employment legislation.
- Experience within retail desired
- Enjoy being hands on in a high performing team with a strong ability to multi-task and navigate competing priorities.
- Need to be a strong partner who can be assertive, read-the-room, tenacious but approachable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential
