Key Responsibilities:Leadership:•Take charge of the HR function in Japan, offering extensive support to multiple business units and shared functions.•Oversee the entire employee life cycle, ensuring alignment with both global and local HR policies.Business Partnership:•Establish HR as a prominent and valuable business partner for the business and other shared services.•Stay abreast of global and regional business strategies, translating them into actionable HR initiatives and objectives for Japan Talent Management:•Implement robust Talent Management processes, including Talent Reviews, Succession & Career Planning, and Training & Development.•Lead Talent Acquisition processes to attract top-notch talent aligned with business needs.Organizational Design and Development:•Offer expertise in organizational design, people management, and communication to align employees with business objectives.Team Leadership:•Head the HR team, providing challenging tasks and assignments, along with support, coaching, and advice for workforce planning, engagement strategies, and succession management.Change Management:•Actively contribute to driving change management during various business transitionsBudget Management and Legal Compliance:•Manage the local budget while ensuring compliance with applicable labor laws.•Provide support in legal cases and investigations as needed.Employee Relations:•Offer counsel on employee relations to managers regarding HR matters, Interpretation and guidance on HR policies and employment law.Team Development:•Lead, direct, assess, and nurture a team of HR professionals to effectively implement the organization’s HR strategy within established budgets.
求められる経験
•A university degree is preferred, or equivalent experience will be considered.
•Possess more than 10 years of experience in Human Resources and Organizational Development within the Japanese context.
•Ideally, have 5 years of experience in a managerial role but not required
•Business English and Fluency in Japanese languages.
•Demonstrated success in managing, developing, and inspiring teams to achieve organizational objectives.
•In-depth knowledge of functional HR processes.
•Strong problem-solving abilities.
•Proven track record in effectively engaging stakeholders and influencing outcomes.
