Being an IT Lead to support and enhance Merchandising planning related system architecture and solution, covering MFP, assortment planning, inventory allocation, etc.
Identify any improvement opportunities for effectiveness and optimization on reducing markdowns and increasing stock availability
Work with cross functional business teams (mainly merchandising, inventory management) and vendors for IT solutions and lead the team on initiative prioritization, identify best approach and deliver.
Account for possible project challenges on constraints including, risks, time, resources and scope
Work closely with project management teams to successfully monitor progress of initiatives
Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions
Define clear goals for all aspects of a project and manage their proper execution
Review industry best practice for improvements
Coordinate with teams on IT architecture optimization, including Security, performance etc.
Build user capabilities (e.g., via trainings)
skills and experience required.
Minimum 5 years’ IT experiences supporting related system platforms or software in China or relevant functional experience.
Experience in managing information technology solutions, and how they translate into business impact
Minimum 3 year’s team management and project management experience.
Experience in managing and interacting with third party service providers.
Retail industry experience in Apparel is preferred.
