Position: Music Teacher (with possibility of covering general classes)
Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire
Start Date: ASAP until July 19th
Contract: Long-term position

Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE in Music Education
- Experience teaching music in a secondary school setting
- Proficiency in a variety of musical instruments and genres
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and engage students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality music lessons that align with the national curriculum
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel encouraged to explore their musical talents
- Utilise a range of teaching strategies and resources to cater to individual learning styles
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development
- Organise and lead extracurricular music activities, such as choir rehearsals or ensemble performances
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate music across the curriculum and promote cross-disciplinary learning opportunities
- Provide cover for general classes as needed, maintaining continuity of learning in the absence of regular classroom teachers
- Uphold school policies and procedures, including safeguarding protocols and behaviour management strategies
