    Working with one of my key Government agencies to recruit a procurement coordinator/advisor to sit within the central procurement team. The role of the Procurement advisor is to deliver effective and efficient procurement advice and services whilst filling any administration gaps within the team, having the mentality of “ what can i do next “ is key. This is a perfect opportunity for someone coming from a contracts administration, procurement administration or purchasing background. Details of the role below: Supporting the wider procurement team in managing low value, low risk contractsRunning the contracts management systems - “ GETs “ and owning this systemDrafting procurement documentation & overseeing procurement processes within the teamSupport the promotion of the procurement policy, state sector procurement guidelines and accepted procurement good practiceTaking the administration load off of the wider procurement team You will get to learn procurement from the ground floor. You will also have an opportunity to take over some AOG engagements & processes further down the track.     I am recruiting for a Procurement Specialist for my client who is known as one of the most trusted public sector agencies in New Zealand. A Crown Entity, North Wellington based location with a National footprint. What will you be doing?The Procurement specialist will be advising the wider business on procurement policies & processes, with a team of 3 you will be making the role your own whilst mentoring & working with the procurement coordinator & senior leadership. You will be managing end to end procurement, contract management, supplier engagement, internal procurement mentoring, running RFx’s - writing up documents & going out to market in a way that works best for the business. As the main procurement specialist you will provide support & advice to the wider business on best practice procurement & be a main part of the planning stage on all end to end projects. What am I looking for in you?Looking for someone confident enough to get out to the business & create a pipeline to run more robust procurement processes The ability to establish and maintain a strong procurement process across the business including development of specifications, tender documentation to contract approval.
