About Us:

Randstad is a preferred supplier of temporary nursing staff to NHS Trusts and we currently have a number of opportunities working on a part time or full time basis across Pennine NHS Trust. Their Acute Mental Health Wards play a critical role in providing care and support to individuals experiencing acute mental health crises. We are seeking a Band 6 RMN to join our dedicated team and contribute to the well-being of their patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients within the Acute Mental Health Wards.
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualised care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic patient care.
• Offer support and education to patients and their families to promote recovery.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin.
• Previous experience in mental health nursing is desirable but not essential.
• Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-centred approach to care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
