Working Hours: Monday-Friday, flexible hours; can work 7am – 3pm, 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm, 10am-6pm. First week of training is standard 9am-5pm
Overtime is optional. Saturdays is available for overtime work.

Responsibilities
As a Risk Analyst, your duties will include but not limited to:
●Participating fully as a member of the team
●Supporting the team by continuously enhancing knowledge / expertise in own area
●Keeping current emerging trends/ developments and grow knowledge of the business, related tools and techniques
●Keeping others informed and up-to-date about the status / progress of projects and / or all relevant or useful information related to day-today activities
●Contributing to the success of the team by willingly assisting others in the completion and performance of work activities.
●Contributing to a fair, positive and equitable environment that supports a diverse workforce
●Acting as a brand champion for your business area
●Gathering and analyzing data to identify complex problems and escalates as required
● Interacting with internal customers / partners for functions performed and/or external customers May provide process / policy guidance to others (e.g. within team, internal partners)
●Processing subject matter expert in a range of technical processes and procedures
●Candidates will be working within AML operations, conducting rapid (15-20 min) reviews of alerts that are triggered via algorithm based on risk factors/behaviours
●Reviewing alerts for potential risks in customer transactions
●Writing up 1-2 paragraph assessment on whether it should be escalated or closed
Qualifications
●2 years AML experience
●Previous corporate experience
●Self-driven and motivated to learn
●Able to work independent but also work as part of a team
●Computer savvy – pick up on internal systems and quick learner
NICE TO HAVE
●Previous banking experience (international included)
●Professional education or certifications
●Business writing experience
