Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to students with SEN, including those with autism, dyslexia, ADHD, and other learning difficulties
- Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) to meet students' specific needs
- Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to create inclusive learning environments and adapt teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles
- Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their confidence and independence
- Monitor and record students' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as required
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with students with SEN is desirable but not essential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and parents
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the educational needs of students with SEN
