Responsibilities
• Provides functional support and execution on common day-to-day activities within assigned Workday functional area(s)
• Monitor Business Process Transactions and responds to process issues;
• Support with testing of new features or updates; Prepare sample data and unit test plans, develop and execute unit and integration tests as per the project plan.
• Troubleshoot and correct bugs or issues
• Manage and launch one-time events throughout the year
• Tier 2: Support employees, managers, HR, and candidates with access, set-up and process issues
• Identification, prioritization & planning of enhancement requests for Core HCM module
• Supports maintenance activities including updating Tier 0 content and maintaining system documentation
• Support with developing new configuration, validate new configuration design, executing configuration changes, and ongoing maintenance
• Supports mass data load requests with EIB templates and/or resolve minor data issues as required
• Enable continuous improvements and solutions for issues relevant to the Workday Functional Area(s) supported
• Provide estimates of work effort Proactively provide ideas to improve proposed solutions.
• Assist in the set up and execution of demonstrations as required.
• Align all work effort with the project schedule/work plan.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
• Extensive experience (5+ years) in Workday administration and support, with a focus on managing day-to-day activities and configuration changes.
• Proven expertise in one or more Workday functional areas such as Payroll, Absence, Core HCM, Onboarding, or Compensation.
• Strong understanding of software development principles and experience in documenting software changes based on design and performance requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, as well as provide functional support to employees, managers, and HR stakeholders.
