One question we are all contemplating is how will the world of work change in the months ahead. To find out, Randstad US recently surveyed thousands of individuals and employers on their outlook. Our findings suggest a continued evolution around remote work, talent mobility, technology use and other developments accelerated by the pandemic.

This data is compiled in our new ebook, 'the next normal', which confirms that we won’t be going back to the old ways. For instance, employers will likely remain highly vigilant about workplace health and safety, as more than one-third plan to bring their people back on site through staggered schedules using robust screening protocols.

As remote working has expanded, so has employers’ access to talent, with geographic barriers becoming less concerning, organizational leaders told us. However, this presents some challenges as half of the executives surveyed said they lack full visibility on the productivity of their remote teams.

The world of work has adapted well during the pandemic, and I’m certain as a global community we will continue to exhibit the same fortitude and resolve going forward. You can take a closer look at our findings on the website of Randstad US.
