One of the chief concerns for employers worldwide during the pandemic has been the impact on workforce productivity. Various data have indicated remote work may lead to improved productivity.

This isn’t to suggest all companies have benefited. Instead, the best organizations have been on the winning side of the productivity battle while most others are struggling to get more done, according to the Harvard Business Review. How do the standouts become more productive? According to the publication, these businesses are 20% more productive “due to the way they acquire, develop, team and lead scarce, difference-making talent.”

What this tells us is that even during today’s uncertain environment, companies can guarantee better outcomes by focusing on their human capital strategy. As always, talent is key to any company’s success – before and since the pandemic’s outbreak.
