about the job
Reporting to the Regional Finance Manager, you will drive financial integrity by maintaining a full set of accounts for SEA entities, including GL, AR, AP, fixed assets, and cash. A core function involves performing month-end closing activities, such as journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and comprehensive reconciliations. You will be a key collaborator in managing project costs and WIP by tracking actuals against budgets and analyzing variances to support accurate reporting. Furthermore, you will be instrumental in ensuring tax and audit compliance, including GST/VAT lodgments and preparing statutory financial statements. Finally, you will play a crucial role in cash flow planning by monitoring ageing reports and ensuring timely payments and collections.
Skills and experience required
- Degree in Finance/Accounting, or related field with professional accreditation
- Relevant knowledge of ERPs; experience in MS Dynamics 365 Business Central is highly regarded
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment to meet tight reporting deadlines
- Highly motivated, dependable, and capable of working independently
