Execute month-end closing procedures, including journal entries, balance sheet schedules, and account reconciliations.
Partner with overseas affiliates and regional finance teams to coordinate month-end closes and management reporting.
Manage rate setting and analyze the financial impact of existing fee agreements
Assist with statutory annual audit processes and tax filing preparations.
Prepare customized client and practice group financial reporting, dashboards, and analytical insights for partners and senior leadership.
Support ongoing finance system enhancements, workflow automations, and special operational projects.

skills & experiences required.

Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related business discipline; pursuing or holding a CPA or ACCA qualification.
5 to 15 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally within a law firm, professional services partnership, or multinational corporate environment.
Solid background in external or internal audit is required.
Prior experience in pricing, rate, or fee negotiations is highly preferred.
Hands-on familiarity with legal industry accounting platforms and advanced MS Excel skills.
Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with high attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interface confidently with partners and fee earners.
Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese.
Candidates with more experience will be considered for the Senior Accountant role
